Germany & Netherlands
[08.03.2025 | Bericht Erasmus Programm 2025]
In February our school got visitors from the Netherlands. For one week we had the amazing chance to meet new people and get in inside view into another culture. Our week started with a big welcome at our school and a tour of the building. Some students had also prepared creative presentations which they presented after we had a meal together in our school canteen.
Later that day we all grew closer together through some fun team games.
On Tuesday we went into the city and held workshops in small groups together, we interviewed people on the street about what they think about food that contains a lot of sugar. The conversations were great and each of us was able to develop their English knowledge individually. After that there was another
“healthy cooking together” workshop waiting for us at school. Bread was baked and snacks were prepared.

Everyone had a lot of fun and it was a great opportunity to get together and talk about everything. The next day there was a trip to the Bundestag. We were given an exclusive tour of the building and learned many interesting facts about the history of Berlin before we were able to enjoy a breathtaking view of the city from the roof of the house.
We rounded off the day with a meal in a burger restaurant and sightseeing around Berlin. Thursday started relaxed with yoga and meditation.

Afterwards, our visitors had the chance to experience lessons at a German school and spent some more time in our daily environment. In the evening there was an awesome celebratory farewell with food and music and a great atmosphere.
Although the time wasn't that long, the exchange is remembered as a beautiful experience. I think everyone had a great time and maybe learned something new about themselves.
